Tongue Twister

I need not your needles, they’re needless to me,


For kneading of noodles, ‘twere needless you see;


But did my neat knickers but need to be knead,


I then should have need your needles indeed.






Six slick swan swam swiftly southwards.






Ayan ang mga tongue twister na nagpabago ng buhay ko!






Yesterday kase, we had our first activity and that is to recite two tongue twisters alternately at least five times (depending on how long are the tongue twisters). At gosh! Hindi naging maganda ang performance ko!






Bago ang mismong recital, pinractice ko na siya. Na-late din si Ma’am kaya nagkaextra time ako. Pero nung nagsimula na, kinabahan talaga ko ng bongga! Kase sinimulan niya sa huli (eh malapit pa naman ako dun) kaya talagang sinigurado kong masasabi ko ng malinaw at mabilis yung tongue twisters dahil may timer eh. After two students, humugot si Ma’am ng index card sa gitna, ni-shuffle na niya! *wheew* Na-save ako dun! Haha. Pero sa tingin ko that’s one of the reason why I didn’t do good on that recital. Kase antagal bago ako matawag, nakalimutan ko na tuloy (memory gap). And it happens to be that I’m the last one to recite kaya ang pangit tuloy ng kinalabasan. Pagdating sa harap nakalimutan ko na yung pagkakasunod ng mga lines. Nakalimutan ko pa yung ‘six slick swan..’ eh! Grabeh talaga yun.






Ang time ko – 44 seconds, pretty good compare to others na lagpas one minute! Haha.. Pero syempre dibah, I know I could do better. Kaya yung pangyayaring yun ang nagtulak sa akin na magsipag!! Haha… I’ll try to be studious and to have more patience. Saka kakapalan ko narin ang mukha ko sa harap ng blockmates ko, hindi paren kase ako ganon kakomportable sa harap nila though there are improvements already.






Next Saturday, I’ll make sure I’ll make a great performance. Ang activity naman- to recite 30 words with meaning within 2 mins or better, at 10 palindromes for 1 minute. Nako sisiguraduhin kong hindi na ako mauunahan ni Kaba! Hakhak.Aja! Aja!
